Mission Priorities

“As pastoral leader of the Archdiocese of Dubuque I need to share my vision for continuing the mission of Jesus in the Church’s ministries.

As we do not have the resources to do everything we want or need to do, this involves identifying priorities, a focus for our efforts and energies.

I propose that we focus on four priorities, which resonate with the goals identified in Vision 2000, and which have also been affirmed by pastoral leaders in our Archdiocese.

Another part of my vision is to engage all of us to partner with me and others in our efforts to continue the mission of Jesus in the Church’s ministries.”

– Archbishop Michael Jackels
