Through his numerous published works, Msgr. Mathias Hoffmann played a vital role in helping to share and convey the rich history of the Archdiocese of Dubuque.
Arguably his most notable book, the “Centennial History of the Archdiocese of Dubuque” wove a rich tapestry of parish and institutional histories together, forming a reference guide that is still in use today.
