What IMPACT is and is NOT…

IMPACT does lead each participant to a deeper spirituality.

IMPACT is NOT only about individual spirituality, but aims to lead each participant to further discern how God is calling us to live and serve.

IMPACT is for any man or woman who desires further formation as a disciple of Jesus to enhance, in a special way, those currently involved in a ministry in their parish/cluster as catechist, council/commission/board member, bible study facilitator, lector, Eucharist to the homebound, etc.

IMPACT is NOT only for those currently active in the parish, but also for those who desire new involvement or enhanced involvement in the parish/cluster or larger community.

IMPACT does require a pastoral recommendation to receive parish funding.

IMPACT is for faith formation leaders who are seeking endorsement as a coordinator or adding components in becoming a director.

 IMPACT is NOT only for those currently employed or serving as volunteers in the Church, but for anyone seeking MORE in their relationship with Christ. IMPACT is for everyone!

IMPACT will require a commitment to the assigned work.

IMPACT does NOT require a set amount of hours each week.

IMPACT does employ high-quality professors from Loras College to lead Year Two.

 IMPACT is NOT a college course. The materials for the second year, though focused on the intellectual pillar of faith formation, will be practical and pastoral.

IMPACT participants will receive a certificate upon completion.

 IMPACT participants will NOT receive college credit UNLESS negotiated with Loras College, prior to the start of Year Two.
