Dear IMPACT registrant,

We have received your application to the 2019-2021 cohort of IMPACT. We are excited you have applied for this two-year adventure of faith!

IMPACT, in the long tradition of lay formation in the Archdiocese of Dubuque, has proven to lead participants to a deeper understanding of our beautiful faith. Through IMPACT, we hope you will experience significant personal and spiritual growth while expanding your knowledge of Catholic theology and pastoral care.

Our goal is for participants to remain closely connected with the pastor/parish life coordinator (PLC), pastoral council, and staff while on this journey of faith and discernment. A letter will be sent to your pastor/PLC seeking his/her spiritual and financial support. If you have not yet visited with your pastor/PLC, please do so in the near future.

On a very personal note, we have witnessed men and women grow deeply—joyfully—in their faith through IMPACT. We have seen them prepared to take on new challenges for sharing Christ’s love in the parish, neighborhood, and world.

Again, we are very happy you have made the decision to invest in your spiritual growth. We are confident you and your parish/cluster will be blessed through the process.

We will inform you of your admission into the program when we have received your pastor/PLC’s recommendation.
